(Notice: This site accepts household hazardous waste, such as herbicides, paint thinner, etc. on the 3rd Saturday of each quarter form 8-9 a.m. only. In 2010, dates are July 17, and Oct. 16)
Residents may drop off unused medicines at the Jennings County Sheriff's office at any time.

- 20" and larger: $10.00

- Oil,filters and antifreeze (limit 5 gallons motor oil)
- Oil-based paints (limit 10 gallons) LATEX PAINTS NOT ACCEPTED
Refrigerant Items
- Refrigerators, A/C units, dehumidifiers - $10.00 fee (limit 2 units; remove all food/liquids, and please air out)
Used tires
- Auto and pickup tires (limit 10) $1.00 ea. off rim, $2.00 ea. on rim
- Semi truck tire (limit 4) $5.00 ea, off rim; $10.00 ea. on rim
- Front Tractor Tire: $3.00 ea (limit 2)
- Rear Tractor tire: $10.00 ea. (limit 2)
Batteries:
- Car batteries (must not be cracked and must have caps on cells
- Rechargeable batteries: (ni-mh, ni-cd, ni-zn, li-ion, pb, button type batteries)
- No alkaline batteries accepted.
Rules for Recycling
- No commercial materials accepted.
- Do not leave items after facility has closed.
- Please find an attendant if you have brought tires, appliances, TVs, or if you need help.
- Please remove all lids from containers and rinse thoroughly
- No latex-based paints accepted.
- No household hazardous wastes accepted; i.e. pesticides, herbicides, cleaning products, etc. Please call SISWD to arrange a time for drop off at the Madison/JPG Processing Center.
- No propane or fuel tanks accepted.

This facility is provided for the citizens of Jennings County to share/swap/exchange items that are in good con-dition//working order.

No Food or Drink
Children must beattended at all times.

All Items are FREE!
Please respect the generosity of others. Take only what you need.
- Leave reusable items only. No trash, broken, stained, dirty or ripped items.
- Shopping is limited to one time per week
- Limit shopping time to 20 minutes - No loitering
- Items taken are not to be sold
- Limit of 4 items per person, except clothing
- Limit of 5 books
- Please show attendant items that you intend to leave on site
- The attendant has the right to distribute items at his/her discretion

- Books with missing covers or pages
- Items that are potentially hazardous because of flaws or faults.
